Ceremonies
Music plays an important role in the entire ceremony. There are 4 different parts to the ceremony that can be enhanced by music.
Prelude – While guests are arriving and being seated. This is generally 15-30
minutes prior to the ceremony.
Processionals – There can be one processional for the entire wedding party. Often there is one for the bridesmaids and another for the bride.
During Ceremony – This is optional. Some people choose to have a musical selection during the ceremony. This can be used to stop and reflect on a reading or a part of the ceremony that has just happened. Or music can be played during events in the ceremony such as lighting a unity candle. Some people choose to have no music during the ceremony.
Recessional – Usually there is one recessional for the entire wedding party.
